I guess I’m on a roll this week because I’ve come across three fantastic back to back to back stories from la-la-land. I am really thankful sometimes for Democrats, uber-environmentalists and the Church of the Obama Christ. With all the stress at work these days, the crazies really provide me with some much needed comic relief!
Don’t know if you had a chance to read my homage to Earth Day but in that little piece I cited human beings who advocate the extinction of human beings so that Mother Earth can breathe easier. I know… I found it hard to swallow too. But once I had stopped laughing hysterically and wiped all the tears and drool away, I duly did my part and shared the idiocy of these folks with everyone I know.
Now there’s another “study” (no doubt paid for by a federal grant funded by our tax dollars) on the evils of having babies.
Oregon State University released their astute findings that children produce 5.7 times the carbon emissions that their parents do. How this is accomplished isn’t made clear, but they do cite the fact that these spawns of evil will most likely go on to (insert hushed, horrified tone here) have MORE children!
Of course, what self-respecting environmental study would be complete without bashing the United States? The study notes that children born in the U.S. have 5 times the impact of a child born in China. Why? Because, according to this study, they die sooner in China.
Hmmm… side note… doesn’t China have government-ran healthcare?!?
Let’s kill two birds with one stone. Get on board with this Obamacare and within a generation we’ll all be dying sooner too and the Earth can be an enjoyable place again.
Of course, no one will be around much longer to enjoy it. Dang stupid logic!!
