Who’s the Joker now?

I’ve been watching this Obama Joker story develop over the last couple days.  At first, I thought it was hysterical that someone in the heart of liberal America would create and circulate this photo.  I was waiting for the media outrage and like clockwork, today the whining has started hitting the news.

Obama Joker I must be getting more and more like my father because I’m starting to get to where the idiocy of the left isn’t rolling off my back so easily.  I just can’t figure out these people.  Some guy on the LA Urban Policy Roundtable (whatever that is) has gone off the deep end over this.  Saying that, “Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery, it is mean-spirited and dangerous.  We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama.”

REALLY?!?!  Liberal Democrats are starting to tick me off.  What a bunch of whiny, uninformed, hypocritical cry babies.  Listen, you wanted Obama in the White House.  You got it.  With it comes some political dissention.  Deal with it.  Being called the Joker isn’t the end of the world.  And being called a Socialist isn’t wrong if it fits.  Obama wants to nationalize healthcare… he’s already taken over a good portion of the auto industry and working on the financial sector.  When the government runs the economy, that my friends, is Socialism.

So someone made a flyer and put it on some underpasses in Los Angeles depicting the Patron Saint of Political Patronage as the Joker.  Boo freaking hoo.

Where were these self righteous hypocrites when a national magazine printed this of George Bush

Bush Joker

Oh, silly me.  I forgot.  Only Republicans are allowed to be the butt of negative political commentary.

It’s fitting that this person picked the Joker to represent Obama.  After all, he’s leading a bunch of clowns on the left.

  • Well said. Photoshoppers heve been putting the Joker’s face on everything from baby’s and kitten’s to celebrities and politicians since the movie came out. Why should the current president get a pass at the Joker face?

  • “And being called a Socialist isn’t wrong if it fits. ”

What, are you some kind of rightwing blogger all of a sudden ?

    • LOL!! Right wing blogger? If believing that American business and individual citizens can fix problems better than the government is right wing, then I’d say I’m probably right wing. Socialism is defined as “economic organization advocating state ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with a more egalitarian method of compensation” … doesn’t that sound like what the President is advocating? Government mandated re-distribution of wealth by significantly raising taxes on only the wealthy. Government control of the housing industry, the auto industry, a good portion of the financial sector and now healthcare?

Socialism? Probably. I just call it like I see it.
